Hmm let’s talk about CT 101. This being my first year in york i didn’t really expect a class like this most of my classes didn’t really have a social media presence in it and Were mostly on textbooks that are recyled from year to year. Ct 101 allowed me to express myself in a way I never thought I would using memes. I was shocked when I heard this at first since I just thought of memes being something you send in a text when you don’t know what to say back to who you’re texting. Or just putting it under an instagram post never doing assignments about them. CT 101 was breath of fresh air if it wasn’t for this class i would never know how to copy and paste, sad right but it’s the truth, i never knew how to copy and paste on my computer or even generate my own blog or website even though it was changeling it was fun to do out of the normal stuff and master it with the help of my professor.

What grade did i earn in this class to be honest i would give myself a 65 or 70 ,you may wonder why not a 80,90, or 100 i don’t deserve to have a high grade to be honest i do my work and complete it ,but i don’t come to class and even when i do come to class, i don’t really participate but the whole class doesn’t, i feel like i didn’t go to class often because it wasn’t a very funny environment for me, i’m already antisocial myself and the class environment just made it worse, that’s why i stayed home most of the time.

                                                                                                        What I did enjoy about this class is that it was different it was about expressing yourself using what are new normal is technology, and using images and memes to express how we feel without having to really write it down and using social media which was my favorite part ,cause that’s all we consume now , I will use my new found such as copy n pasting and using more memes in my daily life especially the memes with my friends and copy  n paste with my assignments .                        .

                                                                                                 Know let’s talk about my website to be honest it will be like a 50/50 percent I up keep my website it will be a fun way for me to just write what I’m thinking or my own fashion blog post . If I do up keep my website I will try to post a topic of fashion , hair  or any drama that is happening  on social media . Or try to build a website of my own were I can blog and sell products .

some potential names I would consider using for my website would be ,MISS WORLDWIDE , Too icy,  Get in with me ,SSJ 101, NAVIGATE THREW THE STORM, beauty with In ,West Indi ,ME VS ME ,LIPGLOSS AND GLOW  ,these would be good for my website names since my website would be a girly world that’s all about me , from the activates I like to do, such as makeup, hair , fashion ,  gossip  and just be a  girly girl in general my page will help if you don’t know what to wear to a party or if you want to try something new our out of your comfort zone.  It would also feature a store where ill put links to some new hairstylist you may want to try food places around the city and or clothes.

                                                                                                                         some social media apps I will feature on my website are tic Tok , instagram and Pinterest , I feel as though these are what I use the most and where the main portion of my ideas will come from , then make it my own .

For me I don’t really know how im doing in  my ct101 class to be honest .I had some trouble making my blog and when I finally made it, it was hard for me to catch up ,the work isn’t hard ,I just don’t have any motivation to do my work to be honest , I still push myself cause I need my credits ,so to be honest im just trying to push threw this class and all my other classes.

what I learned and retained the most is I can express myself without really having to use my words and use images instead  , if I don’t feel like writing a whole paragraph on how I feel. I can just use a meme instead it’s like a piece of art that says my feelings for me .

Some new skills I have learned to do is copy and paste on my computer don’t laugh but I never learned how to copy and paste on my computer fr I never had to use my computer until I had this course that forced me to learn to add my gifs to my assignments , if I never had this course I would never know how to copy n paste .        

 What I know about this class that I didn’t know before is that I can have a class  that isn’t just about books and im being able to use outside sources from social media that are current and fun to me. I wouldn’t really say im missing any assignments right now I’m just trying to catch up on my assignments and make sure I don’t fall behind on them.                                                                                                       

To be honest I don’t really comment on my classmates blog post that much anymore it’s like exactly when I finish my work I just want to close my computer and go to sleep . But I’ll try my best to start commenting more frequently .      

Of course everyone wants to maintain an A plus but to be honest I think I maintain an c plus or an b to be honest I say this since my attendance is low but I still do my work even if I don’t go to class.

Participating during class time I would say I do 50/50 some days I do some days I don’t I guess its just how I feel depending on the day and how interested I am in the lesson .                                                                                               

How I would make my improvements would be commenting more on my class mates post, and make sure im consistent with going to class .

my passion is hair  to me I love getting my hair done and love doing other peoples hair , it feels good to feel good and makes others feel good  too ,it brings your confidence to another level , theres nothing like getting a new hair do that does  makes  you happy each time you Get it done . Hair turned into my passion from when I was younger from playing with my dolls doing their hair to getting older and learning how to do my own hair watching YouTube videos  learning from my aunties and mother . Its the way we bonded as women especially when I started  going to my aunties hair salon it was like a kid in a candy shop ,I wanted to play with the combs wash my hair get it flat ironed .go to the beauty supply store that’s when it all started for me .

we can go on and on for days about what makes me happy in the media from movies to sitcoms to comedy shows .Tik Tok  has been my number one for this week , I been watching a lot of Nara smith cooking stuff from scratch for her kids and husbands like cereal from scratch and marshmallows ,I want to try making cereal and marshmallows from scratch but it would be a epic fail in my opinion but hey you can’t not it till you try it for yourself , another thing is kai caneat streams I don’t miss one stream theres always something new and interesting he puts me on to a lot of other streamers food and cultures .
