Final Reflection Blog Post For CT101

₊˚⊹ ᰔ CT101 Final Blog Post 🫧𓇼𓏲*ੈ✩‧₊˚🎐

Wow! It’s already the end of the semester and just like that, the course is coming to an end.  CT101 was like a breath of fresh air, in comparison to my other classes. I really felt like I could just be myself when taking this class and completing the assignments.

>ᴗ< RE-CAP & REFLECTION ₊˚ʚ 🌱 ₊˚✧ ゚.

🧸ྀི What did you learn in CT101?
- In CT101, I think the biggest thing that I have learned was utilizing WordPress and creating my very own website. At first, it was tricky getting used to learning how to design my website, but it soon became very easy once I explored the different tools and customizations. Additionally, I also learned incorporating hyperlinks into my blogposts! For example, in Assignment #4, you will notice that quite a majority of words and phrases are hyperlinked.
🧸ྀི What grade have you earned in this class and why do you deserve it?
- To be honest, I believe that I have earned at least a grade A in this class. I believe that I deserve this grade because my blogposts seem very worthy of a grade A, as I incorporate GIFS, images, videos, hyperlinks, and I even try to include some of my very own memes that I've made, in my posts. As an example, Assignment #3 was all about creating your very own memes, which you can see mine at the end of the post. Additionally, based on the feedback I've gotten from the Professor, it seems like I am doing everything right! Not to mention, I've attended every class of CT101 and frequently comment and reply to classmates' posts/comments.
🧸ྀི What did you enjoy about our class and how will you apply your new skills into the world?
 - I enjoyed writing the blogposts the most, out of everything. Writing the blogposts gave me a chance to express my hobbies and personality. For example, if we go all the way back to Assignment #2, you will see that I tried making my very own GIFs in that post. Also, if you take a look at my Assignment #5, I share with the class a video from my own gameplay in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, to show them how I followed the instructions for the DS106 Assignment Bank project titled "Back to Basics". I can apply these skills, such as hyperlinks, GIF and meme-making, into the world by continuing to include them whenever I am writing a blogpost. (like for my personal website!)
🧸ྀི You learned how to build a website, will you maintain and keep up your new website? If so, how? If not, Why not?
- I honestly hope that I can try to maintain and keep up with my new website. I still want to give it another makeover, and maybe even change the theme to something more complex because I like to challenge myself, sometimes. I will try to maintain my website by continuing posting blog posts! Whether this means uploading a few pictures I took of nature, or discussing my favorite makeup technique that I learned, I am certainly determined to maintain this website.

𖦹 ׂ 𓈒🐇 ೀ my website: a description and tour ₍ᐢ. .ᐢ₎ ₊˚⊹♡

My website is titled daydreamershub.com. It centers around all of my favorite hobbies; art, photography, beauty, video games, anything that I feel like writing about, really. The website is being used through me publishing my interests, what I like, what I saw that I feel deserves blogging about 🙂 .  Building and having a website so far seems very exciting, I feel eager about adding different variations and customizations to it.

ʚɞ ⁺˖ ⸝⸝ A success that I found while building my site would be being able to make it look cohesive and having the background color match with the text font. However, a frustration that I have been having is that some of my photos that are uploaded on my site do not seem to be aligned! It bothers me so much and I don’t really know how to fix it.

✧₊⁺ With CT101, I was able to gain knowledge on how I can improve my technical skills, especially with web designing. CT101 was lots of fun and I never regretted taking this course. ˙ᵕ˙
