Assignment #2

What did you think on the first day of the CT101?

I have to say I wasn’t too excited on the first day, I thought well I’ll be blogging once a week (which I obviously haven’t) but the sound of using memes and gifs did intrigue me a little. I really liked the first *online impression* of professor Seslow and looked forward to learning some more about what we’d be doing.

Did you like hearing about the course and its creative content? How did it make you feel?

Yea I did like hearing about the content and what specific things we were to do but I didn’t feel anything special just an obligated ok like, alright I’m gonna have to do it and it sounds fine.

How does CT101 compare to some of your other classes?

It is somewhat similar to my literature class where I can have an opinionated response and write about my own thoughts. But it’s also different from all my classes because I solely use a laptop to do everything.

What are the potentials of this class?

Since most people write personal blogs I feel like it has the potential to connect individuals by communicating digitally, something that hasn’t been around for long and is being used by more people each day. Same interests do spark new connections.

How do you feel about learning new skills that use Internet tools?

HAHA it makes me feel very intelligent and up to date. “YES I CAN ACTUALLY MAKE MY OWN GIPHS!” Might not be a big deal but not everyone can do it so it’s definitely a cool thing and I’m interested to learn more.

  1. Hi Fatemeh, excellent use of gifs along with your verbiage statements. I too am excited about learning certain technology skills because it is very useful, as the world becomes more technology based. I would say next time try to include maybe a hyperlink or video embedded. Overall well done on this assignment.

  2. Good work on this!
    Yes!
    This class overflows with creativity!
    Forward you go!
    You will catch up,
be sure to add some hyperlinks and contextual content to support your storytelling (all of my video tutorials share the blogging format and style)
    🙂
