Honestly, CT101 is the most practical class I’ve ever taken, all the text is all instruction on how to do my homework, although it doesn’t look that important, but making memes and gifs can be totally used in daily life. The professor, Seslow, is a very gentle and funny person, he lays out the tutorials in such detail that a ten year old could do it, and I would like to take his class again if I get the chance.

I think I can get a B or B+, although my assignments are not very polished I take each one of my assignments seriously and try to learn something from them.

Although memes and gifs are only a small part of this class, my favorite part is this one, making my favorite images whenever and wherever I want. This class is mainly about blogging, I need to create my own website and cultivate it, so I can use many of the tips that I learned in this class.

I don’t think I’ll update my website very often. I’ll update it when I’m unhappy or when I have something I want to say inside but can’t, with pictures I like and describes, which is very much in line with my character all the time. I like to create a social account that no one knows about and post my thoughts in it, and I think this web site will eventually take that form.

Finally, I’m really very upset because it’s rare to come across this kind of course where you can talk about your own ideas (because you are designing your own website!) This does not affect me in any way love it and professor Seslow lol.

    Different with what I expected, I was thinking of my own name combination of “pic” into a new phrase, but unfortunately how the group can not be used successfully, I had to switch the domain name. However, I decided on another name that I really like.
Its comes from Hotel Transylvania 3:”But a Zing never lies”, I have been very confused what exactly “zing” means, and I was simply to understand it as destiny and love.
Then I saw other people’s explanation that I very like: zing is the sound of a heart attack, a cluster of sparks rubbing out in the mind when love at first sight. The heartbeat is like a “crush”. So finally I chose zingpic as my domain name, meaning the picture that people loves at first sight.

    But I don’t know if it’s a good choice to put too many pictures in a blog. After thinking about it, I think there is no mandatory requirement or standard for this blog, just do what I like and want to do. Although I have a general direction of what to do, but still not quite sure how I want to do it, I hope to clarify my ideas in the next few weeks.

When it comes to things that interest me, I actually only think about how to take nice pictures of myself. Thus, I want to do something like blog or vlog that can record my life in my site. And to achieve this, first I have to learn photography, learn photography composition to ensure that I can take the best landscape. For photography enthusiasts, the expansion of ideas and aesthetic improvement is very important. Example as http://Behance.net and http://film-grab.com Second one is not a photography website, but a lot of screenshots from movies, which are aesthetically reflective. These movies and screenshots are very sophisticated and worth studying to improve aesthetics.

Secondly I have to learn how to dress and how I can dress my favorite style to look better. Here I will go to learn a lot of bloggers’ dressing knowledge, instagram is a very worthy application to learn, I can find a lot of my favorite style.

Thinking about it, what I want to do should be the style of a travel blogger: nice scenery, nice people and nice photos, solitude and freedom. Since there is no way to start now, I can carry other people’s works and sort them into collections, collect my favorite photos and learn knowledge from them(With permission to transport works). Some people like my content is the best, if not, I can also do some accumulation for what I want to do.

In the case of thinking about what you want to do, you can consider the name. In fact, I think the name is rather less important, after all, this personal preference is not how to do like Google search software that we all understand. I find this question very interesting. It feels like it can say a lot. First of all, memes itself is a symbol, a symbolic language, which belongs to the secondary creation of existing things. Emoji, for example, is the result of highly generalizing and simplifying people’s facial expressions, forming a unique symbolic language. 

People always think “this is art.”

and “this is meme.”

No, I don’t think so. I think memes are art, art is to reflect reality in an image way, but more socially ideological than reality. “There are many different symbols in Japanese manga. The cartoonist would draw expressions that show a person sweating profusely or a light bulb appearing on his head when he bursts out with an idea.” These little expressions are exaggerated enough to express people’s little inner turmoil, and the simple combination can express a person’s current state, or the state they are in over time.

An expression contains our or the author’s feelings, which are understood differently by each person and developed through the feelings of things in life. Since entering the Internet era, emoji packs have become a kind of pop culture, and what this pop culture reflects is the current state of people’s spiritual life. Each expression pack is a person’s portrayal of a certain event or emotion of the rain.

So I personally believe  that memes are art.

As someone who likes to be quiet and can’t fit into a group of people’s revelry, I grew up playing on the Internet. First and foremost, I loved playing games, and I also like to watch live games and matches, all sorts of internet games like League of Legends and PUBG. Naturally I have a team that I like and support. The most fervent period of my support would be the 2018 summer season, which was the brightest moment of my once favorite team WE in recent years. Although WE has had more glorious moments, but in my mind, only these five people together WE is the team I like.

Besides my favorite games and my favorite teams, the most indispensable thing on the Internet is, of course, meme! My favorite ones to use are these kinds that look so speechless and don’t want to care about you.

It is a feeling that can only be understood but not expressed. Anyway, The Internet is really a great tool to spend time.
