Last Reflection

To summarize  this semester, it has been really different, challenging and a learning experience. This class has taught me a lot on communication technology even though I knew it had to do with technology hence the name of the class lol, but I learned a lot during the semester.

However……….

Im SUUPPERR HAPPY that this semester is FINALLY over!!

However Im a little sad that this class will be over along with the semester because technology is what I’m into and I liked this class so far. However being able to communicate with it will not only benefit me but also other people in the future.  I enjoyed making gifs and trying out Vapor wave (which was a challenge  so I used an image instead with different filters).

I really  like the fact that get to have my own website which I will definitely use from now on for all my art stuff and just to share feelings if I want to. My website is not much right now sadly but it does have some stuff about me and things that I did so far.

Then the About page which I show what I was involved in, in the past and my art that I did.

The Blog page where everything I did in class, I post it on my website to get feed back or for others to view.

And then my contact page that displays my email (which you cant see unless you press my site link).

For this class which I am grateful for I honestly feel I deserve a B or B+ because I tried to keep up with the class  and contact the professor when able to, even with all the frustrating technical difficulties I faced throughout the semester.  However, I know the energy I put into it and the fun that I had while completing the assignments. I am also thankful for the different technical lessons on copywriting and gifs and vapor wave. All of these lessons have prepared me for what I want to do in the future for my website. So Professor if you are reading this…thank you lol.

 

 

Vapor Wave!

So I looked at the vapor wave link and so far it is interesting. All the colors attracted me although the images threw me off because they seemed more surreal than anything but somehow I still found it appealing. Therefore I decided to make an image of my own using one of my art pieces I made.

I used the  Trianglify Generator for this image which was pretty cool the way it turned into different triangles to make up the image. Then I changed it to this: Using the  Ultrapop app from my iphone.

I was like:

Suddenly I enjoyed the effect and the colors more than the original drawing  itself lol.

Then I got curious and used another app  Ultrapop Infinite on my iphone and created this image:

I really liked how the pop effect came out with the image it was close to the effect of a church stained glass. Overall I had fun with this.

Creating a Domain

So creating a domain wasn’t difficult at all however I had to look at the zoom videos to make sure I was doing everything correctly. I had chose Jazzyfeyproductions as my website name because to me it is unique and was a weird nickname given to me (once at least) from a joke, therefore I decided to take a chance and use it. I may change the name if I have the chance to as I continue to use the domain.

DS106 Project Preview

For the Ds106 project I decided to just explore this assignment which was quite challenging so I chose to experiment with it.

So I had a hard time trying to create a unique version of a key by combining two types of keys, using illustrator and photoshop. It was difficult but at least I got to experiment with the assignment. However Im thinking of trying a different assignment as well.

Assignment # 1- Internet Happiness

One thing I love the most is dance, especially hip hop. Therefore I am always on youtube looking at random dance videos but mostly my favorite dancers such as: Jade Chynoweth, Kaycee Rice, Janelle Ginestra with her husband Willdabeast Adams (don’t really believe that is his first name), Matt Steffanina, Jojo Gomez and Aliya Janell. I absolutely love them and their energy gives me pure excitement.

I also love and admire when dancers involve emotion into their pieces to make you feel what they feel or to tell a personal story. I don’t fully enjoy dance unless high energy and emotion is involved. I danced throughout high-school and had no choice but to go “full out” so I guess it stuck with me.
