throughout the year I’ve always liked that the professor gave us the  ability to express myself creatively through regular blog posts in this course. I really loved how we could discuss and evaluate our own emotions. By completing all of these things, I’ve learnt how to be more innovative as well. By mastering all of the skills I’ve learned throw-out  digital storytelling, I may improve my interpersonal skills and successfully express my ideas and stories in an engaging manner.

as of right now I am currently holding a b- for the sheer fact that I delayed so long to write this blog entry lol. Also, my attendance has been lacking since the first couple of classes because the professor stated that attendance is not required so I took advantage of that shame on me but still I believe that I deserve that grade because my work quality has improved since our first blog post, so I believe that I have improved and learned a lot and I submit good quality work when I do.

Rn Ct 101 is good so far. I did have a couple of ups and downs but we are cooking!!!

I think if I had to name one thing that I retained the most from this class was how to make hyperlinks. I feel that this was the most beneficial thing to learn for our blog posts From this class I have learned how to hyperlink, insert gifs and media , learned how to photoshop on photopea and create a website.

Right now I believe that I am retaining a b- for the simple fact that I waited so long to get to this blog post lol. Also my attendance has not been there really since the first couple of classes because the professor said that attendance isn’t mandatory (did not have to tell me twice )And I think that I deserve that grade because my quality of work has been showing improvement since our first blog post so I believe that I have gotten better and learned a lot

As of this moment I am only missing 1 more blog post and which is the final blog post and I am all up to date on this class . As for comments I have also been commenting to my fellow classmates and taking in all of their kind words and experiences to make my own better

Some thing that I am passionate about in this world is Apex Legends. Apex Legends is a one-of-a-kind and fast-paced battle royale experience. The game’s mechanics, such as the ability to play in squads, use character-specific powers, and communicate via a unique ping system, set it apart from other games in the genre. Its appeal stems from its fluid mobility, crisp gunplay, and well-designed battlefield.

what got me into apex was about a couple of days after the game first came out a friend of mines told me to download and play this new shooter game, and at the time I was a heavy Fortnite call of duty player so I downloaded it. the game was so strange to me because  it was a fusion of games like overwatch and battle royal type games. I evenly kept playing and got really good at it and am currently still playing after 17 long seasons. this game re ignited my passion for uploading content to my YouTube and as so here is a video of my gameplay for you guys :).

at first I had to decide what images wanted to us for my cartoon mashup that I am  doing. so my first step was trying to find the perfect background image for my project.

the next part was me try to find the perfect background form this show I’ve been watching called craig of the creek.

once I have my background selected and loaded into mmm.page its time to work my magic 🙂

and there we have it the final results! so I added my 2 favorite characters  from one of my favorite childhood shows called Codename kids next door. the one in the orange sweater name is Wallabee Beatles but in the show they go by numbers, so he would be referred to as number 4. and the girl in the green sweater name is Kuki Sanban and her number is 3. and last in the middle is actually craig from craig of the creek. i chose them for this project because their shows are pretty similar because they both are focused around kids and their adventures, and seeming as thought theses shoes might get a real mash up special on tv I figured ill lead the way.

The game takes place in the futuristic world of the Frontier, where players form squads of three to compete in a last-team-standing-style match against other squads. Each player can choose from a roster of unique “Legends” characters, each with their own special abilities and personalities. The game also features a variety of weapons, equipment, and map locations to explore.

Apex Legends has become a popular esports title, with a dedicated player base and frequent updates and events. It has won numerous awards and accolades for its gameplay, graphics, and innovative features.

Brawlhalla is a free-to-play 2D fighting game developed and published by Blue Mammoth Games. It was first released for Microsoft Windows and macOS in 2017, and has since been made available on several platforms, including Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices.

In Brawlhalla, players choose from a roster of characters, each with their own unique abilities and play styles, and engage in battles against other players or AI-controlled opponents in various game modes, including free-for-all and team-based modes. The objective is to knock opponents off the stage and prevent them from returning while staying alive yourself.

my first step was to find the perfect apex background to use for a Brawlhalla character

after selecting an image it is now time to load it into Photopea

the next step in this process  was finding a transparent image t0 pair with my previous one(fun fact  I choose these characters because there names are both mirage)

and lastly we have the finished product of mirage x mirage!!!!!!

if i were to try another assignment I think it would have to be stories through games because I actually live stream on YouTube and Twitch from time to time and used to upload videos so I think it would be a fun task.

On the first day of the CT101 class, I wasn’t excited because I didn’t know what the course was going to be about, and I didn’t understand the class description but it would be a cool class to take.

When I first actually got in the class and meet the professor and he basically told us what type of class it was and what we are doing so I wasn’t surprised. I did like hearing about how creative the class was gonna be, it was cool to think that I would be able to make my own meme.

Compared to some of my other classes ct 101 is very fun and more laid back. In my other classes, there are strict deadlines and assignments that don’t really engage us as much as this one does. Assignments are fun and keep us entertained while also allowing us to express ourselves creatively. 

I would say that Digital storytelling has lots of creative potential such as how fast we can share content. Showing off student work or spreading a message to the world are two examples of sharing. Additionally, students have the option of collaborating remotely on projects or receiving peer feedback.

I’m looking forward to using these online resources. I’ve primarily accessed GIPHY for the gifs I’ve used in this post. I am so excited to see how other people use GIFS to express their own opinions and ideas in this class because they are the perfect medium for self-expression.
