This post was about learning about how creativity and immediacy. I wrote that ” In my opinion, creativity comes first, followed by intuition, and last, immediacy. Creativity, as the name implies, is the act of creating or inventing something that did not exist previously. It’s an excellent technique to prepare for intuition since it sets the environment for the flexibility of creative thought to arise. Creativity is a personal process that cannot be forced; it is, by definition, spontaneous.It’s immediate, as is all intuition, and there’s no conscious understanding of how the mind came up with the idea. A good creative balances strategy and intuition, trusting their instincts just as much as their skill.”

This post I talk about finding the perfect domain name and I ended up picking Cookwitheliz.org. The process was not easy but the zoom video definitely made it easier.

The Internet infrastructure relies heavily on domain names. They give any web server on the Internet a human-readable address. A public IP address, either an IPv4 or IPv6 address, may be used to contact any Internet-connected machine.

Computers can readily handle such addresses, but humans have a difficult time determining who runs the server or what services the website provides. IP addresses are difficult to recall and are subject to change. We employ human-readable addresses known as domain names to overcome all of these issues. I’ve had a few domain name suggestions.

This is my process of reclaiming hosting and downloading word press so I can start the process of my website. This process was not hard but I had to be very careful and make sure their was no mistake but I was able to get it done and download word press.

I then authenticate my account by entering the required information and using the offered promo code.I finished the order and checked my email for my account details and an email verification. I download WordPress. Please visit my website, cookwitheliz.com, even though I have not yet added anything to it. It is quite great to have my own website.

This is the process of me beginning to choose a templet for my website and searching for the appropriate video that will teach me how to make my website appear the way I want it to. Thanks to the professor zoom video and the YouTube video below, I was able to discover a fantastic TEMPLET for my website and design.

I wanted to expand my understanding of WordPress and learn more about how to create a beautiful website that will entice visitors to want to remain on it, so I went to YouTube and found this video that piqued my interest.

I began personalizing my website by first modifying the theme. I make the decision to download Astra. Astra is a stunning WordPress theme that is fast, highly adaptable, and appropriate for a blog, personal portfolio, company website, and WooCommerce marketplace. It is really light.

I choose to download a beginning template that will provide me with website template possibilities that I may customize for my own website. This is referred to as a beginning template. With the Starter Templates plugin, you can create professional-looking, pixel-perfect websites in minutes. This plugin offers me access to 280+ pre-made whole website templates and individual pages for Elementor, Beaver Builder, and the Block Editor, which are my favorite page builders. I was able to choose a free template to assist my website get started with this plugin.

This was my second post on how to make Jollof rice. I went into details about how to cook JOLLOF rice on my blog.

In the next few weeks, I’ll be writing more blog posts on my culture’s food and offering various types of dishes for you to try. I’ll show you how to cook jollof rice, Moi Moi, fried rice, and Gizdodo. You’ll get a deeper look at how to prepare Nigerian cuisine.

On my website, I demonstrated how to cook Jollof rice, a famous Nigerian cuisine in our nation. Today I’ll give you a quick rundown of some of the ingredients and how to prepare it. I’ll also pass along the blog’s URL here.

Nigerian rice dish Jollof (or jollof rice). Long-grain rice, tomatoes, onions, spices, vegetables, and meat are often cooked together in a same pot, however the ingredients and preparation techniques vary by location. As you can see in the picture I went in details about how it’s to cook jollof rice. I went to twitter to find other culture jolly rice this is Ghanaian Jollof rice. I think it looks amazing with all the vegetables.

Imgur and Giphy are excellent venues for experimenting with and creating GIFS. I also learn how to build my own website through Wordpress and how to find a great domain and host. Today is the last post and the final. This past few months I have learned a lot and I have grown a lot too. To getting out of my comfort zone, being more open and sharing more than I’m always willing to share with other. But it has been a incredible journey. From creating my first ct101 memes to learning how to use hyperlink, finding my domain name, finding a hosting and downloading wordpress, lastly building my own website. It has been bitter sweet.

Panoramic Storytelling and World Trade Center

Today I’ll discuss the World Trade Center. The World Trade Center is widely recognized as the world’s tallest structure. It was a popular spot before the disaster, where everyone went and spoke about. Today, I’ll offer an overview of how things are now and how the United States is recovering from the incidents.

The first World Trade Center was a massive complex of seven skyscrapers in New York City’s Lower Manhattan’s Financial District. It first opened on April 4, 1973, and was destroyed following the September 11 terrorist attacks in 2001.When I think of the World Trade Center, I think of how many lives were lost in a single act of evil. This day will forever damage family life.

This panoramic shot was taken at the World Trade Center, which houses the Westfield World Trade Center shopping complex. I try to envision what it was like 21 years ago every time I come here. I often watch videos on YouTube about people who worked at the World Trade Center that day and how they missed their alarms or trains that day, and how God saved them from death.

A monument and museum devoted to those who died that day may be found outside the Westfield World Trade Center retail mall. When I see their names, I am reminded of how many wonderful individuals have died simply performing their jobs or working hard to provide for their families. It reminds me to be grateful every day because life is so brief, and not everyone has the chance to live a long life.

Rest in peace to all the brave dads, moms, teens, young aldut, firefighters who risk their lives to save people, the incredible guy who keeps going to each floor to save people, and police officers who died that day. I also hope that God would give peace that beyond all understanding to their family, friends, and anybody else who is still mourning over this tragedy. 9/11.

Now I would like to talk about some website that stood out to me when I was checking out the comment under the assignment post. First Paola Acosta websites stood out to me because with just the simplicity it still stand out. I want everyone to check out her website I also love her first blog that talk about how we tend to consume everything around us which is true everyday we go on social media and things we see and read can increase our knowledge.

Second website that stood out to me is definitely DUOJAY website called madeinyourlikeness. I think the background design for this website it’s actually brilliant because of what the website will be about. I don’t think he’s done editing his page but I’m looking forward to seeing his first blog so I can make a comment on his page.

Building my website and posting my first blog

In my last piece, I discussed how I went about constructing my website. I describe how I downloaded Astra and began customizing my website by altering the theme initially. I choose to get a starter template that will provide me with website template options that I can tweak for my own website. A starting template is what it’s called. Elementor is also what I use to design and update my pages. Elementor is a drag-and-drop page builder for WordPress. This plugin helps you to create gorgeous pages using a visual editor. It’s designed to make creating dynamic web pages simple.

Since last week, a lot has transpired, and I’ve updated my website to make it more presentable for today. I’ll show you my newly updated page, and you’ll get the opportunity to visit my website today. I haven’t completed revising the ABOUT categories, but you should have a look at the rest and let me know what I can do to better any of the work I’ve already done in the comments. I haven’t change the name of the website but I’m working on creating a really great logo for it. My website is still a working progress….

The WordPress Customizing Series

Hello everyone, it’s been a long time since I’ve blogged here. It’s been difficult to enter into my account since someone attempted to hack it, but I’m back now. I have a lot to talk about today.

To reproduce the image above, I convert it to this image. I want my homepage to be the first thing people see.

I also use Elementor to create and update my pages. Elementor is a drag-and-drop WordPress page builder. Using a visual editor, this plugin allows you to build stunning pages. It’s made to let you easily create dynamic websites.

I also decided to do a little blog example on my website just to see what my website will look like if I decided to post anything and it came out great. I was able to find some free images in pixels which can save me from getting copyrighted.

Even tho i’m not done editing this my website but i wanted to show you guys the progress. I hope everyone have a great day.

Domain Name Registration, Hosting Set Up & WordPress Installation!

I was thinking of creating a website that showcased some of the cuisine from my home country. Because I’m Nigerian and adore cooking, having a website where I can share my Nigerian recipes is amazing. It was a breeze to set up my domain with Reclaim Hosting! I instantly began checking the availability of my domain after accessing the sign-up page. Cookwitheliz.org was my domain name because I wanted people to feel like we’re all in this together. It’s wonderful that it’s now available.

The procedure of registering a domain name and installing WordPress was actually quite simple. Despite though I had to go back and watch the tape to make sure I didn’t click on the incorrect thing. I was extremely careful while filling out my information and the coupon section since I didn’t want to pay, but everything went according to plan.

To be honest, this process was not difficult thanks to the professor’s demonstration of the zoom video, which was quite helpful. I would have been perplexed if I hadn’t seen the zoom recording. I didn’t really made any mistake but re-watching the recording made the procedure more easier and more enjoyable.

Picking A Domain Name!

What would the website be about ?

I was considering building a website that showcases some of my country’s cuisine. I’m Nigerian, and I enjoy cooking, so having a website where I can share my recipes for Nigerian cuisine is fantastic.

With the help of a simple website, I can take images of my food and show them off to the rest of the world. Not only is a website useful for this, but it may also serve as a reminder of how far I’ve progressed in my cooking abilities and how I’ve improved my skill set.

Food.com is now my favorite website since it accurately depicts the firm, its products, services, and, ultimately, its brand. As a result, being aesthetically attractive, polished, and professional is critical. The site, in my opinion, should appeal to both searchers, who are looking for something specific and browsers, who are just looking about. By offering relevant information and eliminating dead ends, you may help visitors accomplish their activities quickly while also keeping them engaged. Make it simple to become involved by providing various points of contact, such as phone, email, social media, and maybe a simple contact form. A Google map is a nice touch. In this class, I believe I am performing well. Despite its frightening appearance, the material has proven to be very easy to understand thus far. Is it possible for me to perform better? So far, I believe I’ve gotten around 20 points. In this class, I should be able to maintain an 85. I really need to make more comments on people’s pages. That, I believe, will improve the number of points I get each week.

My weekly blogging effort is growing my creativity since I can now write several blogs that will catch people’s attention with the resources I have today. I’m looking forward to learning about all of the new tools available to me for website design and development.

I do not have assignments messing right now besides the next couple of assignments that need to be completed. Yes, I do need to comment regularly on my classmate’s posts. I have just started replying back to the professor and I will also continue to reply back to my classmate. I think asking questions is part of participating during the class time because I always seek clarity everytime i’m confused.

Digital Art & Creative Immediacy

Creativity is the ability to develop or identify ideas, alternatives, or possibilities that may be beneficial in solving issues, interacting with others, or amusing ourselves and others is referred to as creativity.

Immediacy is a trait that draws one into direct and immediate contact with something, creating a sense of urgency or excitement.
Intuition is that feeling in your gut when you instinctively know that something you are doing is right or wrong.

Knowing that there is nothing to fear if you truly understand who you are. Continue to grow as a person through reading and being insatiably curious. Never letting the kid in you die, never losing sight of the fact that you are a star, even when other stars look down on you from the firmaments. To be conscientious, yet also to have fun. To dream, but also to follow them; else, you will remain a dreamer.

The core of being alive and what genuinely makes us “human” arises from a state of enormous spiritual strength. Both spiritual and physical natures exist in humans. We unleash spiritual strength from our souls when we concentrate on becoming spiritually alive. This is what distinguishes us from the rest of the evil kingdom! Being spiritually alive also entails using our free choice and abilities of comprehension to improve ourselves and our community on a continuous basis. Knowing God, being in His presence, and traveling a path of service to Him are all part of it. Learn to be somber while maintaining the ability to laugh at oneself. To love and to be adored. And to realize that, while you are immortal, the body you inhabit is mortal. So, when the time comes, naturally let go of it.

I use this amazing website called mmm.page. What inspired me to create this is that I’m Christian who is passionate about preaching the gospel, and I wanted others to know that Jesus died for our sins on the cross. Simply expressed, no one would have everlasting life without Jesus dying on the cross for our sins. “I am the way, the truth, and the life,” Jesus declared. “There is no other way to the Father but through me” (John 14:6). Jesus outlines the purpose of His birth, death, and resurrection in this statement: to offer a road to heaven for sinful humans, who could never get there on their own. I became a Christian for a year and a couple of month. I always wanted to join the church choir due to social anxiety and panic attacks. It was kinda discouraging but I’m about to start praying about this.

One task for which I believe I already possess the necessary abilities is the design assignment.This assignment wants us to Design a poster for an upcoming event, it could be a concert, a car show, really anything you want, the event can even be made up. THIS ASSIGNMENT WAS SELECTED BECAUSE I ENJOY BEING CREATIVE WHEN MAKING POSTERS. Making posters and developing new designs has always been a hobby of mine since I was in middle school.

Posters are one of the most cost-effective advertising mediums available. Posters allow you to reach a large audience for a fraction of the cost of radio, newspaper, or television advertising in a simple, straightforward, and cost-effective manner. When you combine your design skills with it, it becomes even better. Design, whether we realize it or not, is one of the most powerful factors in our life, and it can also be motivating, uplifting, and illuminating.” It takes a lot more than just making a nice-looking product to be a competent designer. It’s all about giving them a great experience at every touchpoint and with every interaction.

This is an assignment I’ll be doing more of this semester to help me learn and develop both emergent storytelling talents. I’ll be utilizing the website cavas. It’s a fantastic website for integrating design, picture editing, and layout to assist instructors and students in producing stunning completed projects. Teachers may use Canva to create posters, guides, and projects, but students can also use it to complete homework.

This project required us to create an interactive software with 100-200 lines of code and a viewer-interactive component. I believe the code assignment is the only one for which I believe I require further expertise. Yes, I am familiar with HTML and CSS, but coding need more experience.

There are several sites for learning programming languages. Codecademy is one of the most well-known online code-teaching websites. I could learn Javascript, jQuery, Python, Ruby, and PHP, among other languages, at Codecademy. Once I’ve learned the essential languages, I may move on to more advanced tasks like building a website, establishing a Rails app, utilizing APIs to create apps, and other fascinating ambitions. In addition, I can learn these abilities via Youtube, Khan Academy, Udemy, and Coursera.

Programming skills are vital because they assist young pupils acquire problem-solving talents, such as the capacity to solve a problem both rationally and creatively. Coding increases a person’s cognitive talents by helping them to think more clearly, strategically, and analytically. I will be learning more programming language this semester and applying this skills to real life world. I want to build an app using c programing this semesters. Assignment #3 – Memes? Art?

Art is defined as “the expression of human artistic minds and inspiration, often in a visual form such as painting or sculpture, generating works to be valued primarily for their beauty or emotional force,” according to the definition. A meme is a text-enhanced image, generally with a message about cultural icons, societal concepts, or current events. A meme is usually a picture or a video, although it may also be a paragraph of text. If you look back in history, you’ll notice that art has been used to communicate ideas in the same way that memes do now: vibrant, colorful visuals. If you look up some art pictures , you’ll notice that memes are included. Not only that, people use art pictures to actually express themself using memes .

Internet memes are visuals that are used to praise, parody, or lampoon current events and popular culture, and they have become an important component of how young people interact online. Parents, teachers, and grandparents still rely on news stories and Facebook and Twitter posts, while today’s young adults get their news from memes on Instagram, TikTok, and Snapchat. Memes are an extremely sophisticated form of communication

Memes allow people to share their thoughts and personal tales. Memes have the ability to attack not just societal problems but also social ideals, giving them a flexible weapon for satire and humor. Memes may use comedy to highlight societal social ideals by discussing the value’s normalcy and how the value can be amusing at times.

Yes, memes can be storytelling. The memes we see everyday usually tell a story. It can be something we relate to or something that happens in our lives every often.

What did you think of the first day of the CT101?

We had our first class using Zoom. The professor gave an introduction to CT101. I had the opportunity to meet each and every one of my classmates. I think it was fun and chill. To be honest, I’m also excited for this class since it will motivate me to learn sign languages.

Did you like hearing about the course and its creative content? How did it make you feel?

When I originally signed up for this class, I assumed it would be a class where we would just write an essay about how technology is enhancing communication, but I wasn’t prepared for the fact that we would also be required to be creative. As an introvert, this class will allow me to express myself more freely and be more creatively without having to worry about what other people think.

How does CT101 compare to some of your other classes?

CT 101 is, without a doubt, the most enjoyable class I’ve ever taken. I THINK THIS IS THE ONLY CLASS THAT ALLOWS ME TO FINALLY START CREATING WHILE STILL BEING ABLE TO SHARE MY WORK FOR EVERYONE IN MY CLASS SEE.

What are the potentials of this class?

Digital Storytelling exposes me to visual literacy and shows me how I can use it to improve my learning. The class will allow me to build my own digital narrative in a hands-on environment. Digital tales may be told in a variety of forms, including text on a website or social media platform, narration and pictures in a video, and narration in a podcast. Digital tales have a storyline, characters, and themes, much like a novel or a documentary. So I’m really excited to learn more about this.

How do you feel about learning new skills that use Internet tools?

To be honest, I avoid social media because of the negativity, but this class has been fantastic. I’m learning how to make social media fun and creative.

What makes me happy on the internet?

I go online every day to read the news, check my Tiktok, and watch YouTube videos. I enjoy watching videos about new healthy items. This week, one of the things that has been on my mind is my natural hair. I’ve been watching YouTube videos to learn more about how to care for natural hair. As a black woman with a 4c, taking care of my natural hair has been quite challenging. For years, my hair seemed to have remained the same length. So, this week, I’ve been watching a lot of YouTube videos on my natural hair.

First thing that i learned was my porosity hair type

The porosity of your hair determines its ability to absorb and retain moisture. The porosity of your hair dictates how easily oils and moisture may pass through the cuticle, your hair’s outermost layer. Medium-porosity cuticles are less firmly linked. I discovered that I have low porosity hair and that I have been using high porosity products to care for it for years, causing my hair to split and become dry.

Second thing I learned is never comb your hair dry.
