During my 39th Birthday weekend. I got to spend some much needed time with family. This is where I would normally drop a few photos to share the experience with you guys but I’m still working on getting the aesthetics, functionality, and interface of my website to my liking. I can see/feel this will be my summer project. But I made a quick video of me shooting my cousins bow & arrow which my sister got a huge kick out of. And I’m working on sharing some photos from the event in the near future.
My new Website + It’s Use
New Website Alert!
Hey guys!
So after thinking long and hard about what my new website should be about, I got nowhere lol. I simply just decided for my website to be a blog of my adventures. A blog where you guys can take a sneak peek into my life through the use of images!
The name of my website is EYECONIC!
I wanted my website to have a different and creative name. My name is so boring and common that even I’m tired of it Lol.
^ That is me when I see photo-worthy landscape and ready to post it on Instagram!
Anyways guys, click on my website and take a look! 🙂

Vinka’s amazing website
Vinka’s website was so awesome that just reading the title made me hungry. I was able to relate to her first post about Korean barbecue because I, too, enjoy k-bbq. The website has encouraged and motivated me to start a video blog about foods from different cultures. The website’s message of wanting to try new foods all over New York appeals to me. I adore everything about the website; the only suggestion I can make is to brighten it up, particularly because she talks about food. Don’t get me wrong, I love the color black, but it needs to have a brighter vibe to keep people engaged, particularly with her material.

Classmates Website Feedback

One of my favorite websites to explore was Bazán’s. Her website was very organized, user-friendly, and put together. The comments section was detailed, allowing her to engage back with her viewers. The homepage was very to the point with her work, and every story even had a time estimate which is an excellent addition for anyone that wants a quick read. My only advice would be to add the SSL plugin to secure your website. Overall, it is inspiring to see her website this developed in 3 weeks; and I’m looking forward to checking back in at the end of the semester. Great job Bazán!

This review focuses on the things you won’t find online about Stylist and will be helpful for anyone looking to get into the fashion world. There are key takeaways, and I hope you guys enjoy the read. Please check out my work over on Tashidostu and show some love. Thank you so much!!
The WordPress Customizing Series, Part 1
My Website is live!!! This is an exciting time for me because I have always wanted to create a Website.
Working in the creative field, I work on unique projects that get put out in the real world. However, it has always been hard to showcase my work because I didn’t have a website or used applications like LinkedIn, where the industry demands were so different from mine. When I was looking for a job, I would’ve had to individually send portfolios to various companies and startups, which added an extra step for me and was tedious.

With the launch of tashidostu.com and learning how to create a Website, I look forward to getting rid of my old ways and publishing my portfolio digitally. This online studio will be a place where I showcase all my creative work in mediums such as styling, photography, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
Ultimately, it will be a one-stop-shop for all my services and create a more fluid experience for companies looking to hire.
About My Classmates’ Website
Its been quite a journey. It’s like it was yesterday when we started this class and all thought it was going to be a traditional class. I’m happy that we’re all in the process of building our websites. I enjoyed going through all your websites but Vinika’s was most striking to me due to its potential and my love for food!
As aforementioned, love to eat food and I love trying out new foods. Fortunately, I live in NYC where there are like a bazillion places to eat with even more variety.. This is a both a blessing and a curse because all the good restaurants are just sitting there, waiting to be discovered. For example, If you live in Brooklyn you would know little about an amazing taco spot that’s in queens or a great Mediterranean spot that’s in Astoria. Thanks to Vinika, more places to eat would be readily recommended on her website weekly. I have a feeling this website is going to contain a lot of photographs and I’m here for it. These photographs would help to showcase the menus and atmosphere of the restaurants she decides to post on the website. Here’s a quick snapshot of the website layout.
Seriously, Vinika I wish I would’ve came up with this idea. Here’s some inspiration/future plans for your website you can consider. You can make the website the unofficial restaurant magazine site for Local restaurants. Who knows, when you get enough traction on the site, you can even start to charge restaurants a small fee for promoting their restaurants, The restaurant benefits from the additional social media exposure and you benefit with more money in your pockets! This website of yours has serious potential. I hope you continue to work on it and grow it, even after the semester is over.
I look forward to her recommendations so I can try out these restaurants ASAP.
So, What is copyright?
This week, lets delve into copyright…
So, What is copyright?
From the content below (and there is a lot of great stuff to explore) please select a blogging prompt to respond to – you should respond to at least one but of course you can respond to all of them!
Why is there copyright?
How much should users of the web think about copyright as you and others share, re-share, and remix content on the web?
What is fair use? Think about these questions and watch Larry Lessig’s TEDTalk – How creativity is being strangled by the law.
*You can publish your work here on CT101 OR your personal website and then share that link on CT101*
**Assignment Option #1– In a new blog post, find a quote from the Larry Lessig talk (link above) that you find compelling and tell us why. Also respond to the questions posed above.
As a further reflection on “fairness” and fair use consider two cases that actually tangled with the legal system under copyright law. First, Andy Baio a software developer for Kickstarter writes and speaks about his experience being sued by a photographer and is forced to settle and pay thousands of dollars. This is despite the fact he believes the law is on his side and so does his pro-bono counsel the EFF.
https://www.creativemornings.com/talks/andy-baio/2 <- link to the video
Second famous appropriation artist Richard Prince is sued by photographer Patrick Cariou for Prince’s use of Cariou’s photographs in a number of collages. At first the courts sided with Cariou the photographer, but then on the appeals court reversed the decision in favor of the Prince’s remixes being fair use.
**Assignment Option #2 – In a new blog post, find a quote from both Andy Baio’s case and Richard Prince’s case that you agree with, disagree with, or both. Tell us why. Also tell us whether you think law around fair use is working. How would you change copyright law and fair use if you were in charge.
**Assignment Option #3– In a new blog post – Digital Storytelling Prompt on Fair Use – Create an image, GIF, video, and/or piece of audio that reworks a quote and/or image found in any of the linked essays or videos above. Think about possibly creating a poster that uses an image and quote (https://photopea.com will help). Or create a video or audio remix that samples from the Andy Baio and/or Larry Lessig talks. Or maybe come up with something on your own that is inspired by these discussions. In your post, remember to use hyper-links to reference texts incorporated in your work as well as give context to the work.
Have Fun!
Week #10 & 11
In my previous post, I stated that I would be doing stories in my blog post. I do not know what genre I will put yet, such as romance and scary stories. However, I stay true to writing stories. While my writing drive is not the same as before, this is something that I would still like to do. I could give it a shot, and I’ll try to make some interesting stories. I will try to do short stories for the website, at least for now. I will try to come up with creative ideas.
I had stated that I was thinking about adding music. I do not think I will add music after all. But, I will describe how different shows and books have inspired me. One book that inspired me to write stories is Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief.
I read this book in high school and I was invested in it. It made me enjoy reading and gave me thoughts that I could write like this. I will definitely recommend this book to anyone that hasn’t read it. I would put how books like this inspired me to write in my first blog.
I will start posting on how the website is going to be and I will be posting on the website. http://wilts-stories.com/
Link to my website and latest post
Week 8 & 9
I did it, I made my own website. http://wilts-stories.com/ is the name of my website. This took me a while to decide because I wanted a name to represent something that I liked. I’m a person that used to write stories and draw, so I wanted something a bit easy for me. The names that I had thought of before were Geronimo-animations, Geronimo-ideas, Wilts-comics, Wilts-stories, Geronimo-wilts passion, Wilts-episodes, and Geronimo-episodes. Now I have decided to go with Wilts-stories.
Now as for what I will be posting, I believe I will start off with writing stories. I can’t write comics yet. If I could, I would try some things with Geronimo himself. This mouse is cool to me
There’s a good chance that I will add other things to my website. I may add some music I like listening to, some animes that I watch, or even games that I play. If anything, I would add any animes that inspire me to write such as death note, and assassination classroom.
This anime actually helped give me some inspiring ideas and made me start writing. So, I could use this on my website if anything.
This anime helped give me more inspirational ideas by showing how a teacher could help his students in multiple ways, and give them creative ideas. Ryan has given me the opportunity to use creative ideas in this class.
I may or may not add listening to music on my website. I love music and I love vibing to it. I’m debating on if I will. That’s up to the future. If I do, I’ll be dancing for sure

New Posts On New Website
Greetings to all!
I have finally posted on my new website MonoPillowtalk!
On there, you’ll find 3 short stories that portray intimate and authentic self-reflection in a creative way. I wrote these stories with the intention to deeply evaluate the memories that have made my person, whether or not I have understood their impact or effect. As children, we lack the awareness that one day, memories are all you will have left of things that once were. And these memories, have the power to make or break you. As an adult, what you do with this realization will either help you evolve as a person or will simply add on to your trauma.
Earth is both heaven and hell, if you want to read how I’ve accepted the lessons and turned them into blessings of knowledge, click here.
Exploring My Classmates Websites
Exploring The World Wide Web
For today’s assignment, we had to explore some of our classmates websites, and in doing that I saw many fun and creative websites that were just awesome.
The one that stuck out the most to me, was Cassie’s website There’s Life Outside. First off, I love astronomy and all things about the universe, and I haven’t seen a good conspiracy theorist in awhile, and Cassie I think you are really onto something with your website. It was straight-forward and to the point, and I like how you designed the background, and the pictures you included. It is very unique and very creative, well done!
(An Astro Vibe!)
I also enjoyed Angel’s website A Strange Perspective, it’s the perfect amount of optimistic and realistic. Your perspective of the average human being exploring and enjoying life is very interesting, I like how your writing is very complex yet simply put.
Being a writer myself, I can appreciate when someone writes from a place of truth, for in the truth lies the key to a balanced existence. Sounds a little too deep, but it’s true. So Angel and Cassie, you guys both did a great job on your websites, and I can’t wait to see what you come up with next.
I POSTED MY FIRST BLOG POST!!!
My first post is a very in interesting one and you can either find some humor in it or dislike as a whole its really up to you check it out at http://amchad.com/uncategorized/my-first-post/
