You should never, I suppose, judge a book by its cover. I had figured it was going to be a tough one at the beginning of the semester for this course because we were dealing with technology. I also had in mind that we were going to have tons of work since blogging deals with it.

I had in mind, however, that it was going to be interesting to learn new internet skills.

I was completely pumped and hyped up because I found an entirely new side of creativity. I’ve always wondered how memes and edits on a post are handled and I want to learn that.

Ct 101 is more enjoyable compared to other classes and it leaves space for more innovation and motivation, so it doesn’t only concentrate on having a perfect score, but it lets you do what you want and be as creative as possible. Everyone is on the internet at all times, and people want to do something and discover how it works.One of the strengths of this class is how it allows you to interact with other people and make them relate to your content. As for me, with people who have the same interests as I do on the internet, I would love to build and share content. With that being said, to build something that I have never been familiar with, I would take a thing or two from this class. Every day, it’s nice to learn new stuff that helps you in the real world.

 

What’s making me happy on the internet is watching photos and videos about nails. Watching videos on Youtube allows me to give to my clients the latest trends in the nail industry. This makes me happy because I will be entertained and at the same time I get educated for free. This is my Super Power what is your?

This video is cartoon video from a stand up comedy show that a Mexican woman named Anjelah Johson  made about how Asian girls trying to  convince people to do their nails. I found it very funny because it is a reality for a lot of nail techs, that you have to convince your clients in the nail industry to do more to make more profit and also to build your brand and skill set more.

Over the course of Quarantine, I have been trying to boost my social media presence on all platforms. From Tik Tok, Facebook, Instagram, BIGO, YouTube, BandLab and SoundCloud. And I came to realize very quickly, that it is not an easy task, with school starting back I had to learn how to manage my time better, in order to balance work and fun.

Becoming an influencer is all about confidence, when you gain the confidence, you can then inspire others to become influencers themselves. For me, I love to inspire people through performing arts of all kinds, whether it be dancing, singing, acting, the list goes on and on. The most important thing in all of this, is to block out the negativity. There will always be someone who will try to knocking you down when your moving up. Don’t give the haters any power over you, work hard and rise above and be better.

Always remember that the biggest and most greatest accomplishment in being on social media is having confidence and inspiring others with your message. If you’re willing to put yourself out there, regardless of how the world will react then you’re ready. And never let anyone dim your light in this world, there is no greater star in the sky than you.

The internet did make me happy since I was 12.  The day that my grandfather gave us a computer for the first time, I always watched Inuyasha and different animes, and from then to now, I am still watching anime. Currently, I am reading webtoons, mangas, and manhwa. one of my favorites manhwas is Cheese in the trap.

It is a long manhwa, so it got four seasons. It has a K- drama, is shorter than the original, and some stuff might change, but it also was good. I will recommend it if you like romance. It is one of my favorite genres. I read this in 2019, but I love it, so I wanted to share it.

A year ago I discovered a mobile game. You can play it on a computer and PS4. I have never been a massive fan of mobile games but this game caugth my attention, and is the only one I play. It is called Genshin Impact by Mihoyo.

It is a Chinese game, and it has many voice translations, so it is easy to understand. It had ganed popularity around this year, it was nomiated to one of the best mobil game, and best role playing game. I am not sure who the winner was, but I think that it was among us

The game’s design is just incredible, and the quests are fun; also, each character had cool elements. The game develops with two main characters: Lumine and Ather, siblings from another world. They got separated by someone. I do not remember if it was a god or just someone with higher power than them. Then the story starts. You have to choose which twin you want to be while finding your lost twin. It is a fun journey

It is a fun game, and I have made some friends through the game. They are friendly people. I will recommend that your phone has a lot of space and you have a good internet connection.

TV Shows – Pennyworth

Pennyworth is an EPIX original series from the DC Universe that follows the backstory of Alfred Pennyworth, who is known to most people as the butler to Bruce Wayne (Batman).  The story is set in London during the 1950’s where Alfred, a former British SAS soldier, is trying to set up a security company when he is under Attack from the Raven Society. However he meets Thomas Wayne and Martha Kane, members of the No Name League who he can fight alongside. The TV series is ongoing and I am currently watching season 2. I love the story and the characters in this show and the action is pretty good. It shows how the relationship with Alfred Pennyworth and Thomas and Martha Wayne evolved overtime

The way WandaVision miniseries is going right now is very interesting. The story of WandaVision revolves around Marvel characters Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch and synthezoid Vision after the events of Avenger’s Endgame the story shifts to new time periods every episode. For Example, the first episode was filmed in a 1960’s setting with a laugh track every time there is a comedic moment. As the episodes go along the timeline jumps forward every decade from the 1950’s to the present, I felt like there was something that Wanda was keeping secret. Hey everybody. I wanted to use my first GIF post to piggy back off of my internet happiness one. In it I embedded a set mix by the DJ group Tale of Us. No I do not condone violence nor I do I think/believe video games directly cause it. But on a more serious note. I’m glad I can officially say I know how to make a GIF. I’m a Taurus so I just couldn’t resist including a bull in something. I love the creative range Prof. Seslow allows on here. I unfortunately am taking JOUR282 at the same time as this class and it’s (writing) is much more restrictive. But I’d like to think I’m a smart rebel…

And hopefully by the end of the semester be more comfortable marrying all these skills, metamorphizing them into my own so I can be a better all around communicator and not feel like this all the time…

 

What’s been making me happy on the internet was watching how people on reddit have been influencing the stock market drastically by making the stock for GameStop rise tremendously and how they were even trying to do the same with amc ripping off the hedge funders that were basically betting on the death of  GameStop. Hello everyone, my name is Andres Fernandez and this question really had me thinking about it for a long time and I really had to think about what gives me the most enjoyment when I open up the internet. I use the internet for almost everything from video games to random YouTube videos to weird random things I want to buy from amazon but the thing that I have been enjoying the most right now is watching videos/tutorials on how to use programs such as Photoshop or Adobe Premier Pro and create something amazing. Just a few months ago I was finally able to buy my own computer and the first thing I bought was Photoshop. I was horrible at it and had no clue on where to begin but I saw so many YouTube tutorials that really caught my eye and made me want to learn so much more such as:

It’s videos like these that helped me learn on becoming better in Photoshop and really gave me a really big interest in photo manipulation and give it more of a fantasy look on them. I was able to finally finish on a small project that I’ve been working on and I’m excited to learn more on Photoshop and I’m also working on learning Adobe Premier Pro to edit videos. The internet is the best place to learn new things such as hobbies and also to express your creativeness and that’s what really makes me happy to see every time I go on it.

to say the least, but I do find that various content online does give me happiness. I love memes and I have a full album in my photos dedicated to collecting them.

I also find the internet to be very much chaotic but there is a space or niche for everyone. For example, tv-show stans or gamers. I myself remember being apart of the whole Game of Thrones fan theories, especially on Twitter.

Currently, I find a lot of happiness on the internet from Twitter because it’s a meme gold mine but you do come across pieces that make you laugh and think a bit deeper. I was recently on Twitter and I came across this video and it made me laugh so much. It honestly brought a lot of joy that day but it also made me think about how true this situation is. We live in such a digital era, where our devices are constantly being tracked, recorded, etc., and sometimes we don’t even realize. We would google or search the web for things we want and speak to others about something we want and then later see ads advertising said product to us. It always freaks me out but this video turned it into humor and I enjoyed that. Could you imagine actually resorting to ad tracking to find a date online?

Hello, my name is Justin and I’ve been using the internet for as long as I can remember. As a kid I would always be online playing games or watching funny videos.  Nowadays I do pretty much the same. Although I use social media to keep in touch with friends, I don’t spend actually spend a lot of time on it. I would much rather spend my time listening to music and talking with my friends on Discord. Here’s some of the music I like to listen to when I’m relaxing or have some schoolwork to get done:

Another hobby of mine that the internet sort of created was my interest in hair. More specifically, the waves hairstyle.

After a bad haircut a few years back, I scoured the internet for information on how to get the best waves possible. I would stay up late watching videos on how to brush my hair properly and take care of it so that my own waves would look their best. Below is a Youtuber who taught me most of the things I know just from his videos alone. Today I continue to use the internet to expand my knowledge on waves. I’m even able to give others tips like I’m some type of hair guru or something. I’m excited to continue with this course and find new ways to enjoy my time on the internet.

Hello everyone I’m Kyla and I’m 22 years old. Because of this pandemic we’ve all been staying home a-lot more than we normally would . With that being said we also have been on our phones a whole lot too . I usually have been pretty active on social media but not as much as the average young adult my age . Ive always told my friends and everyone around me , Once they see me in Tik Tok that they finally know that I am bored beyond words. Originally I thought we would be quarantined for a matter of months not a whole year . Hi everyone my name is Garrick and one of the things that makes me happy on the internet is meme culture. There are plenty of things that I and many other people don’t like about the internet, but if there’s one thing people on the internet do right it’s making memes out of anything meme worthy. Especially throughout the past year. Memes also, in a way, keep me up to date with what is happening in society. Whether that be a current event or something a celebrity may have done. Memes to me have always been a way for people to come together and joke about what may be happening in the world. In the case of 2020, memes made light of a lot of the serious and weird events that took place within that year. Another thing that makes me happy on the internet is YouTube/twitch. YouTube and twitch have both served as a nice form of entertainment for me since quarantine started and even before then.
