Hello everyone,

For this assignment, I will attempt a “Visual Assignment” from the DS 106 website. For this project, I chose “Bucket List,” which is something similar to my last project.

Bucket List

I used PicMonkey to combine all the images and make a collage, but for some reason, I couldn’t save it. So I went back to the Spark. Adobe.

This collage contains 4 wishes from my bucket list. The first image shows travel I want to travel the world like most of us. However, I do have the top 5 places I want to visit which include Turkey, Greece, Dubai, Maldives, and  Kashmir. The second image describes that I want a kitten or cat but my mom is not ready yet to have a cat at home. The third image is pretty clear that I want a ride in a hot air balloon. The fourth image shows that I want to learn to drive and I am working on it.

 

I was thinking really hard about a Domain Name and what my website was going to be about I came up with the perfect enjoyment for a website. I GIVE YOU

YURP ANIME AND!Online Gaming!

Since this is mostly what I enjoy doing the most I know many people would love to visit websites that have some much content with anime and games. Not to mention the anime world been on a huge rise of popularity due to social media but mostly one anime Dragon Ball Z(Dragon Ball Series). Because of it huge outplay and liking throughout the anime world at that time anime nows and anime-inspired games have gotten a lot of love.

As for the name, ill say Dope and High Anime/Game?

LOL! Sound weird lol I can’t really think of anything much lol feels like my brain is about to create the next big bang. But seeing how the world is right now we all need a little enjoyment or liking in our lives something that makes us feel like we’re in a different realm away from the negativity in the world.

But let not forget being too caught up in a world that isn’t real could be bad for you nonetheless both gaming and anime have taken the world by starting in 2020 mostly and have created a positive and somewhat a negative environment with all the vs matches in anime about which character can beat who. Lol, personally it brings people together.

OH BY THE WAY LOL IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE GAMES

Before I began the Ct102 I thought the class will be learning how to tell story and a lot of writing which will really be stressful as a journalism major.

However its actually less complex and really easy, the Ct101 Class actually is extremely awesome and great! Im learning. new things about the internet and the best part is I get to be creative which will help me in the Long run since the internet has. become apart of our norm.                        

Ct101 compared to my other class is just….. Honestly there’s no comparison Ct is by far the best class I have ever looked in college. As I am doing the assignments its not like I can have writers block or solve a problem that makes my brains explode but I am at ease and just having fun!!!                    

Being that Im Web Design 1 Ive created a domain name on Reclaim Hosting. My domain name is deandrajohns.com, which is so plain and boring to me but every other domain name that I did want or tried it was unavailable.

In addition, being that I am a business owner for a hair company I do own an official domain name that I pay for yearly which represents my brand.  Déluxuary.com this website is created under WIX business platform, in which this also a user friendly and functional website for customers to brows and use at their personal usage.

My potential domain name that I have in mind would called De’sWorld. This site would be about my favorite clothings store, restaurants , vacation spots and more. This website will give insights of what I enjoy most in life, it will also be a motivation site that encourages women to become a better them. Often times social media forces individuals to become someone they are not. My website will be inspirational as well exploring things I enjoy in life.

Below I will show you my current business Instagram, it shows hair and also inspires those who engage in with this page. Ive notices since I started to post these motivational post the demographics of women who purchase from my business has changed which is something I am happy about.

  

As a beginner it is very important that your website is engaging , vibrant , informative, truthful and overall genuine. Ive learned that people follow brightly designed animated websites which makes it more fun and engaging to use.

 

My first choice will be to work on this visual assignment on receiving online help with a task I will input into Great Assignment Help. One thing I think I will learn from this site is… I think I will need to learn how too …

For my first DS106 assignment, I decided to make a collage of some of the things on my bucket list.  The first picture is what has been on my list the longest. I have wanted to deepsea dive since I watched Finding Nemo as a kid.  After watching the movie, nature documentaries were all I watched.  All I could think was “I have to see this for myself.” It’s actually my goal to go deepsea diving before for my 30th birthday.

I feel like bungee jumping is on everyone’s list. I don’t have a real reason why, I just want to see what the hype is about.

Since I was a kid, I’ve always loved to perform. I’ve performed talent shows, competitions, and benefits.  I fell off why I got to my junior year of high school but I miss the stage. So I would love to be in Broadway play before I die.

The underwater hotel is a more recent goal.  I know that Dubai and the Maldives have one so this is more of a long-term goal.  However, it’s super expensive so I might have to settle for a cabin on the water. The Maldives underwater room is about $17,000 a night so… it’s more of a fantasy right now.

When the professor told us to pick a domain name based on what we were passionate about, I knew exactly what my domain would be called.

Over the summer, I interned with the World Childhood Foundation and met with speakers from UNICEF, Facebook, The New York Times, and other such institutions to battle the topic of violence against children. The Foundation fights all forms of violence against children and is currently working on a sustainable development goal, known commonly as the 16.2 goal, which aims to end all forms of violence against children by the year 2030.

At the end of the internship, all scholars- as they called the interns- were required to come up with a project to bring awareness to any of the topics covered over the summer. So, for my project, I made a talk show host called ‘Straight Talk with Kysa.’ (If you visited my blog page, you would see that I use the name Kysa instead of Shanae whenever doing projects like this.)

I did two episodes and in those episodes, myself, and some parents, spoke on teaching kids about their body parts and how to protect them on the internet; the second episode ended with an original song. (I will try to insert them in this post in case you guys want to take a look.)

I received a lot of positive feedback and was told to continue making episodes but I was not sure what more I could say. So seeing that our websites will feature our passions, I thought that this would be a good time for me to make more episodes and have a website dedicated to it for easier viewership for persons.

So, as you may have guessed, my domain name will be straighttalkwithkysa.com.

Here are those videos to get an idea of what I’ll be publishing on my website. But, I should note that the new videos I make will not be as lengthy. These videos were only lengthy because of the presentation time I was given from the foundation.

 

So I honestly didn’t believe that I would find any assignment that truly peeked my interest but then I stumbled upon

Create a Game of Thrones House

I am a die hard Game Of Thrones fan. I have seen every episode of every season at least five times, so when I seen this assignment I was very ready and already knew what I wanted my Sigil to look like.

Jointherealm.com made it easy to achieve since it is all already set up for you with two options. These options are to create one on your own using a simple template or have them generate one for you. But, because I already had a clear vision, I decided to create my own and this was the final product…

I wanted to incorporate me so “twin” to represent being a gemini which is known as the twin zodiac sign (I don’t have a twin, unfortunately, but I have a older sister who people feel looks exactly like me and we have very similar personalities) And of course my favorite character of all time…

 

Daenerys Stormborn of House Targaryen, rightful heir to the Iron Throne, rightful Queen of the Andals and the First Men, Protector of the Seven Kingdoms, the Mother of Dragons, the Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, the Unburnt, the Breaker of Chains.

As you can see I really love this show.

But this is why I used the dragons because I feel like they represent everything I love in the show while also fitting what I envisioned my sigil to look like. The green along with the black made a perfect pair and I placed the two images together to give almost a Ying and Yang affect. In all I really enjoyed this assignment.

 

For my second DS106 assignment, I did another gif assignment and had way more fun than I did making the first one. This assignment required me to make 4-6 gifs from my favorite tv show- I did 5.

I chose the show ‘Moesha’ because I am currently binging it on Netflix and it has been quite a fun experience so far. I titled it “The Moods of Moesha,” and you can check it out on my blog by clicking on the hyperlink!

Creating these gifs were a bit more challenging because I had to go through the episodes to go perfectly with the idea that I had. I first started creating gifs using giphy.com, because I have been most comfortable with that site, but eventually, the site just wasn’t creating my gifs. I wasn’t sure if it was my laptop’s fault, my wifi’s fault, or just something going wrong with the site, so I decided to switch to imgur.com.

Once on Imgur, the process went more smoothly. Also, I could not help myself and so I did some writing as well. I hope you guys take a look and enjoy viewing it as much as I enjoyed making it! I’ll leave the link below again!
